A. Marisa Whitsett is a colored pencil artist and illustrator, bookbinder, fiction writer, expert in fountain pens and inks, former bookseller and current book lover, dedicated introvert, and trumpet player. She works as a licensed mental health counselor in Memphis, Tennessee. She lives there with her husband, son, 1 ½ dogs, and 2 cats. She is currently pursuing a Ph.D. in Counselor Education and Supervision.
